30 Day BOOKS Challenge – Day 6

Day 6:  Most thought-provoking book you’ve read

Has to be – A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I read it before the Kite Runner so it had a lot more impact on me. The book is beautifully written and from start to the end, you remain engrossed with the characters. This is what made me expect a lot from Khaled Hosseini’s And The Mountain Echoed…which disappointed me 😦

Share the book that has made you stop and think, even for a small while 🙂

  1. Well, for me it would be my recent read- ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ Honestly, because I don’t think I’ve ever related to any other protagonist as much as I did with Charlie. It’s a brilliant book with an absolutely amazing set of characters.
It’s one book I’ll never be with. :’)

    Have you read it?

    • I have. However, it had a lesser impact on me because I read ‘The curious incident of the dog in the night time’ and soonafter, I read The Perks..

I love the narrative though. Charlie is awesome as a character 🙂 Superlike!
